Sierra Online preps pair for XBL, PC

On-rails space shooter Aces of the Galaxy and rabbit-busting puzzler Boogie Bunnies popping up on Microsoft's platforms this winter.

While Blizzard has been making a killing for Vivendi Games in the massively multiplayer online market, the publisher has been looking to corner the small-to-medium-sized downloadable game space with its Sierra Online brand. In addition to the turn-based strategy game Carcassonne and 3D Ultra Minigolf, the online-focused publisher will be peppering Xbox Live and the PC with a number of other releases before the year's end, including Battlestar Galactica and Commanders: Attack!.

Now, Sierra Online has added two more downloadable offerings for Xbox Live and PCs, Aces of the Galaxy and Boogie Bunnies. As detailed in GameSpot's piping-fresh preview, Aces of the Galaxy is a space shooter on rails that lets players blast through more than 20 levels. The game includes both single-player and multiplayer co-op modes.

A color-matching puzzle game, Boogie Bunnies floods players' screens with the notoriously replicating lagomorphs. To keep the bunnies at bay, players match up bunnies three of a kind as they march onto the screen.

Sierra Online has slated both games for "this winter." Neither game has been priced nor rated.

I give up talking to you. I tried to have a smart, intelligent talk with you but clearly you just cannot have one. Your last post is just showing about how you try to find facts while you are attacking every part of my post because you are losing. Look at this part from your last post:

"WHAT MORE EVIDENCE DO YOU WANT YOU PIECE A CRAP" then this

"HOW DARE YOU PIECE A ****" not mentioning you name call

"WATCH THE DAMN VIDEO YOU IGNORANCE PSYCHO!!"

and another unitelligent reply such as "READ THE DAMN ARGUMENT before you make another ignorance comment."

All you were saying in your last post is how you just telling me to read and read and read but I clearly read, give back the piece of information and you seriously not mature enough to have this conversation as you just getting mad for this debate. I seriously feel sad for you, you call yourself "not a fanboy" yet you act like one when someone threw an opposite argument. My advice once more, get a proper education, educate your language and get back after your IQ is more than 75.

Why does anyone need Boogie Bunnies on XBL?? The only reason anyone buys these goofy games is if the achievement points are easy to get. Otherwise, it's a waste of time & money. I hope achievement points are easy on Aces of the Galaxy, but I'm guessing they won't be. The interesting games always have hard achievement points & the goofy games have easy ones.

dont know what you guys are arguing about. sony did sign a deal with ncsoft at e3 IIRC, and sony and nc decide on what games they want to port and they are making new games for ps3.

i think the first one they might port is tabula rasa if it does well.

Wow, I remember Sierra Online more than ten years ago and I was always hooked with their games during the DOS era. It's cool seeing them branch out.

As time goes by, XBLA starts to look more and more like a real place to do actual gaming. DLC has been a major source of contention this gen, and as the quality of the material goes up, so does my excitement at the possibility of real entertainment being available online through XBL.

Seriously Where is the fact that Sony is gonna get the best MMO ever?? As far as I have seen, Sony has done nothing but failing every MMO they ever created. Look at the Matrix Online for example, it died within couple months. The fact that you started to fire up everytime there is a critic to Sony makes yourself look like a fanboy. You try to make yourself look smart but the fact that you have to write things in caps and forcing your opinion to other people show how stupid you are. Now give me a fact itself that Sony has actually made one successful MMO. Before you actually write your damn argument, try to educate yourself with some proper knowledge or at least go to some school that has some standard. I am sorry but you yourself making one sided argument from what I see here. By the way, I read most of the link you gave there and all those links are just some argument or opinion given by some editors and you wrote it as a "fact". You just said that NCSoft prefer PSN than XBL, and how do you know this as a fact? Also one of the link you give the the ITWire don't say that PS3 is winning or anything, the title might say so but the conclusion in the article shows that Sony has nothing to worry about their future but it still doesn't show that they are the winner. Let' see what you wrote here before: "Can you tell me what is the most dominant console in sale overseas (exclude Wii with 360 1 year ahead start). Its is the PS3. Evidence:.."

And I read the article and for your reading pleasure I will cut you the part from that article

"So, I don't think Sony needs to worry about having any stock languishing in warehouses this time next year. All three games console manufacturers are set for the most amazing year that they, you, me, everyday consumers"

You want another one? Sure, let's see your same argument about ps3 dominating outside and take the article from CNET you gave us. YOu told us to exclude the Wii by the way???? Oh I am sorry because Wii came out like couple days LATER after ps3 was released. So you know what your argument just failed again. For another reading pleasure of yours I will give you another cut from that article.

"The Japanese gaming hardware market has been all but cornered by Nintendo since the Wii launched in December 2006. According to Enterbrain's numbers, the Wii has sold 2.9 million units in Japan as of mid-July, more than double the combined total of the PS3's 1 million and the Xbox 360's 420,000 units. In May, the Wii was outselling the PS3 by a healthy margin of 5-to-1."

Yeah....umm....outsold by 5 to 1 comparison by Wii so another failure for your argument there and all these failures are proved by your own supposedly "facts".

From what I see, you just look every article title you can find and start copy and paste it cause you think you can fool people cause people won't even bother reading more into it. By the way try to fit into the topic of the article here since we are actually talking about XBL and not PSN. This is one part where your intelligent really dropped once more. Educate yourself and come back when your IQ is more than 75 and you have a better behaviour to reply.

"Sony is gona get the best MMO title ever, with NCsoft and SOE are working closely with PS3."

That is your biggest downfall of your argument.
