Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island on the PC
Electronic Arts will ship a new pinball game based on the Unreal Tournament engine this spring.
Electronic Arts has announced that it will publish Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island for the PC. Adventure Pinball is built on the Unreal Tournament engine, and it takes the classic game of pinball through an adventure story via a series of fantastic 3D realms and worlds with fast-paced action. The game features a number of increasingly difficult pinball tables, or stages, that players must complete to save the denizens of Forgotten Island. Forgotten Island is a prehistoric island filled with dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures untouched by modern civilization. To succeed, players must complete a multitude of challenging events that will open a series of passages to allow access to the next stage. For example, some locations will have balls that catch fire and drift over waterfalls or pterodactyls that will grab balls and drop them on another level. Competitive, turn-based multiplayer support for up to four players will add to the overall arcade game experience.
Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island is scheduled for release this spring under the EA Games brand.
