First look: HoveRace
GSC Game World's hovercraft combat game will let players race in a variety of futuristic arenas. New screens inside.
HoveRace is an arcade-style racing game that will let players control various high-speed hovercraft in a number of futuristic arenas. The game is in development at Ukrainian game studio GSC Game World, which created the real-time strategy game Cossacks: European Wars and the sci-fi shooter Codename: Outbreak.
HoveRace will feature 15 different hovercraft, each with different weapons and characteristics, as well as 18 detailed arenas that feature destroyable objects. As they progress through the game, players will be able to upgrade their hovercraft with weapons, armor, engines, and other modifications.
