Could Carmageddon be at hand?
SCi's long-dormant car combat franchise could be making a comeback in 2005.
Though SCi's megapopular Carmageddon series hasn't been seen or heard from since 2000's poorly received Carmageddon 3: TDR 2000, it appears as though the return of Carmageddon could be nigh.
In SCi's recently released 2003 financial report, the company specifically states that a new version of Carmageddon is in the works. "A new and updated Carmageddon is in development with a planned release in 2005," says the document.
Though no specific details about the game itself were revealed in the report, it was noted that the game is being targeted for the PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.
