First look: Big Scale Racing
HD Interactive releases the first screenshots from its radio-controlled car racing game.
European publisher HD Interactive has released the first screenshots from and information on Big Scale Racing, a radio-controlled car racing game being developed by Bumblebeast.
Big Scale Racing will see players taking control of one-fifth-scale radio-controlled vehicles that are exact representations of those that are raced on specifically designed model race circuits all over the world. Players will initially have access to only a standard class of vehicle, but by winning championship races against any of the 240 opponents in the game, they'll gain access to more powerful and lightweight "hopped" class cars.
Players will also be able to compete against each other in a two-player split-screen mode or in the LAN mode, which supports up to eight players simultaneously.
"Big Scale Racing is high-paced, rubber-burning action with skill settings that make it easy to learn but hard to master. Definitely not recommended for the fainthearted," said Mike Klumper, managing director of HD Interactive. "We are thrilled to have secured exclusive European rights to this title. It combines precision simulation with hours of addictive gameplay and that makes it great value for money in the mid price range."
Though Big Scale Racing is due for release in Europe in September, the game will actually be released in the US later this month by Summitsoft. We'll have a full review of the game soon.
