The Ward Due in Early 2001
On Deck Interactive's upcoming science-fiction adventure game will arrive in mid-January.
On Deck Interactive has announced that its futuristic space adventure game The Ward will be released in early 2001. The game, which is in development at Fragile Bits Interactive, mixes puzzle solving with fast-paced action. Players assume the role of David Walker, an astronaut caught in a disaster while on his way to the moon. He awakes to find himself being held hostage by aliens. Walker must find a way to escape from the aliens, find out more about their plans, and eventually prevent them from destroying the Earth. The Ward is scheduled for release on January 16, 2001, for a suggested retail price of US$19.99.
