Schizm goes beta

Project Three's epic fantasy adventure game is almost complete.

Project Three Interactive has announced that its upcoming fantasy adventure game, Schizm: Mysterious Journey, has reached beta testing and is on schedule to go gold in early April. The game is one of the first to be designed especially for DVD-ROM, although the company will also release a scaled-down version of the game on a series of CD-ROM discs. Schizm takes place in a huge futuristic alien world in which an entire colony has mysteriously disappeared. Players must explore the planet to find clues to the mystery. The story in the game was created in part by the popular science-fiction writer Terry Dowling.
