With the work already complete on Sam & Max Season One and Two, Telltale Games is attempting to find out just how much mileage it can get from the adventure game series. Last year, the independent game maker ported its PC franchise to Nintendo's Wii, and now Telltale is setting its sights on Xbox Live Arcade.

On its official Web site today, Telltale announced that the first two seasons of its madcap adventure series will be added to Microsoft's digital delivery storefront. Unlike its previous iterations, though, Sam & Max will be slightly rebranded on XBLA, with the first season now bearing the moniker Sam & Max Save the World, while season two bears the tag line Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space.

Telltale did not reveal a release window or pricing information for the upcoming Sam & Max titles. For more information, check out GameSpot's review of Sam & Max Season Two for the PC.

Sweet. I hope if I buy this they'll give Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island the same treatment.

I think it's great that these games are being offered to more people who haven't had the experience yet. But when the heck is Season Three going to be announced!!

I'd rather have them on disk. I hope they get a disk based release on 360 too. otherwise I might just get the wii version. I'll have to see how the pricing works out.

Everyone who hasn't already played this on PC: buy it. The Sam & Max episodes belong to the funniest games I've played in a long while.

Sounds good. I am actually waiting it on XBLA since I am too lazy to install. Not only that, I am too lazy to make another account for downloading games. I prefer everything stays on my XBL account, easier for me to manage by lazy me. Besides, I am not an advanture game fan. I am skeptical about it, a XBLA trail play is a good start.

Come on Lucas release some old point +click adventure games i.e. Monkey Islands, Maniac Mansions, Full Throttle, The Dig, Indiana Jones', grim Fandango. I mean seriously......COME ON! Also Quest for Glorys' would be sweet (Sierra I'm lookin' at you) especially Shadows of Darkness.....COME ON!

@Timbydude - "Meh, I'll stick with PC. Point-and-click adventure games don't blend well with gamepads."

well, they're point and click adventures, not RTSs, gamepads would do just fine

Mush mouth they wont ever put them out on 360. Just buy (or dig out) them for your pc. Its alot easier, you can even get them to work in xp and vista if you know what to do.
