Yep, tried it and it's good. I played through Scratches a few months ago, but I haven't played Barrow Hill yet. It's that kind of game anyway, but technically it's more proficient than Scratches. The atmosphere is spot-on, in spite of the written bits that are pretty awkward for a game based on the prose monument that was Lovecraft.
I find that type of game less scary than Jericho, Doom or Dark Corners of the Earth, because you don't have to react as quickly, but this one feels ominous alright.
Oh, and ShoopLor: something IS coming at you! Finish the demo and you'll see...

Whoa! Scary environment you BET! I just don't know if something will appear and pop my head off!!! I still haven't finished this demo. And I don't know if I'll ever will. Too scary... It's easier where you could just kill your enemy and you go frightening to the next (like in Doom, Darkness, Jericho) But when there's no enemy to fight and you're afraid...uuu that's something else.
