    I, too, had the same issue...can't apply the patch because it only works with the UK version. In the meantime, I have little to no spoken voice audio, only sound effects...it's really annoying. Anyone know of a proper patch that will work with the US version?

    I was unable to use this patch because it looks for the uk version of the game and not Secrets of the Ark. I am so disappointed. It took me forever to finally get this game to run on my XP laptop. I was hoping to fix the minor sound issues this patch would have probably fixed.
