Blair Witch: Rustin Parr Screens
GameSpot has four exclusive screenshots of the first game in the Gathering's The Blair Witch Project game trilogy.
Gathering of Developers has sent us new images from Blair Witch Volume One: Rustin Parr. The first Blair Witch installment, in development by Nocturne's creators at Terminal Reality, mixes atmospheric adventure gameplay with action elements in the style of the Alone in the Dark series. The game's story returns to focus on the reclusive killer from the Blair Witch movie. You play Doc Holiday, an investigator from Nocturne's Spookhouse agency. The screenshots clearly show how the Nocturne engine has been adapted to fit Blair Witch's gritty look.
The other two games loosely based on the movie franchise are increasingly action oriented, with the final game almost resembling a shooter. The second game, called The Legend of Coffin Rock, is being developed by Human Head, while Ritual Entertainment is working on the third, The Elly Kedward Tale.
