    Why does the demo guy always use the shotgun? Takes forever to reload and if you miss, does no good. Pistol and assault rifle work much better.

    Loved the atmosphere in the last one. Also really like how they made the game playable on really bad computers while still making the graphics good on high, just hope they fixed up the grass.

    well i have played it and im still playing it lot of bugs you can kill crows, new weapons (upgradable), new suits, artifacts are harder to find and are worth more, some of the same lvls some new, i have not beaten it yet but ive seen the ending and that was a buzz kill but all in all good game

    stalker gets fair boring after a while i rekon but it's still a good game you just have to get into it then it's fun

    I played the first stalker and found the movement to be very constricting. The mechanics felt so dated. It lands up being a very frustrating experience as far as a 1st person shooter goes, too much micoro management for a shooter. This is a pretty bad game, and yes, very boring.

    I'll not really buy this game, it sucks, the graphics...and the player..he made it! made the game look prettyyy borinnnggg. just (try to)shoot and hide..

    lol the graphics suck but awesome game like that dude down there sad they should make it on a better engine but i dont think cryengine will suit this game

    Actually, Ukrainian is its own language seperate from Russian, including some seperate letters from the Russian version of the Cryllic alphabet and so on. That was a good attempt at trying to know things though!

    wow I speak fluent Russian due to taking lessons in my University and I cant understand a word they said. They chose dumbass Americans to do the voice acting of Russians once again, what freakin retards. Its like if Germans wrote the script and chose German actors to play in a American setting Wild West game then thats about just as bad as how this crap game is at scriptwriting and acting besides the same swearword they keep repeating. A piss poor and mediocrely outdated game, end of.

    they should consider developing STALKER 2 on the Cryengine 2...Xray has the graphics,but in the same time they look outdated

    T.O.S.S, what's that spell? That's what Clear Sky will be, just like the last dismal effort at what should have been a great game. Lousy graphics, bugs galore, primitive interface, not in the least bit interested in wasting good money on anything with the stalker name to it.

    did ye guys noticed the yellow "arrow" somewhere in 20 seconds... is like a grenade marker? weird stuff just hope they upload more vids in wich they show monsters n different enemies... bandits just aint what i would have chosed to show examples of the new AI...

    The HUD looks mega lame.
    All the weapons look exactly the same, many of the textures look EXACTLY the same and the bandits and stalkers look exactly the same.
    If not the same then maybe a few pixels different.

    Regardless, i'm still going to play this for the storyline and because im a big fan.

    As a sidenote, i personally think COD4 did a way better job of illustrating a bit of the outskirts and the city of Prepyat, perhaps not in complete accuracy, but in graphical beauty. If they did S.T.A.L.K.E.R. using the COD4 engine: THAT would be so awesome my face would melt "Raider's of the Lost Arch" style.

    And Azile0 i really dont know what u r talking about, i think that the models are different. the shotgun definately is but the pistol im not so sure. and the shotgun has a lot more of a 'bang' to it.

    Also the textured do look a BIT outdated but they are different from the first game.

    The first game was held together by the atmosphere and the gameplay.

    I watched all 4 gameplay videos and it doesnt seem to run smoothly. Might be the players fault, but very unimpressive gameplay.

    the russian/... voice intonation is realy not like in realety , if you are in combat whit some punks than its very very laud and very very nasty and not just like ,sh*t or fuk but (in russian variant ...) ********** rite guys?

    It looks like they just took the original and made some new maps, a new HUD and inventory screen. I am seeing the same shotgun and pistol models from the first. I still want to play this for the story, but it just doesn't look graphically innovative yet.

    as much as i love this game i hope they manage to fix all the bugs that were in the original one, possibley the worst game server i have had to run cos of all the bugs

    I'm playing through the first one right now with Float32 and Oblivion Lost 2.2 patched up to 1.0006. Can't imagine myself playing it any other way.

    Looks much better from the original STALKER.
    The lighting are finally up to date (With different dynamics under shadows for example)
    The grass looks great.
    But the texture still feels a bit outdated (Or maybe I am not a good analyst)
    Overall, I can't wait for this game

    The first one was fun, because it plays like an Oblivion-style RPG, but with intense shooter sequences. I like the colorful bullet shells and gun-loading animation. It looks like a more refined version of the original. Could be a great game.

    the game lags for you Ozzy? how old is your machine? mine from a year and a half ago runs Shadow of Chernobyl smoothly on high settings
