New Soldier Screenshots

Southpeak has released new screenshots of their upcoming third-person shooter.

Southpeak Interactive and Sinister Games have released some new screenshots of Soldier, their upcoming futuristic arcade-style third-person shooter. Players must find a way to get off a planet while fighting against genetically engineered soldiers and the planet's natural predators.

Solider will feature full 3D graphics and will incorporate all the traditional elements of arcade-style shooters, including power-ups, armor upgrades, and more than 20 different types of weapons and weapon upgrades. The game includes 15 missions and objectives that involve defending settlements, freeing hostages, locating technologies, and attacking enemy units. Soldier is scheduled for release in August 2000.
