    uh windows sucks on ps3. slow and crappy. honestly. plus you have to install linux on ps3 to get windows on and its just too much of a hassle.

    Why does everyone keep comparing this to Halo? They're really not that similar. Will every futuristic fps get blamed for being a halo rip off? Where are the aliens or the pretencious story lines?

    The preview doesn't mention anything about the random map generation that I read about in Edge magazine over Easter. Is that still going to happen? I though the random maps in Diablo made for huge replayability so I was excited to hear that.

    I personally love objective driven fps so I was really excited to hear about the ecms also I like the addition of NPCs to guard bases and the way that you have to spend points on tanks etc because I find think its ridiculous that in almost all fps games you can run straight into an enemy base and steal their vehicles without using a key (It'd be awsome to see a hot wiring mechanic such as the one in gta china town DS.)

    I personally didn't like the look. The battle suits looked too shinny for my liking. If they'd looked more like the beefy Terran marines from star craft that would have been better in my book.

    I never played halo, don;t know why. I'll try this one with a "clear mind", argh, although the move mechanics aren;t really impressive.

    to me, this game was a disappointment. you cant do most of the stuff they showed and all of the missions are the same thing. I just wasted my money on this. F***K!!!!!!!!

    Wasn't really interested in this one, looked kinda meh to me; but my son talked me into downloading the MP demo last night and it was actually more enjoyable than expected.

    Game publishers used to release demo installers for the PC. Now they are missing entirely in favor of the consoles' much more pervasive and efficient online support networks.

    Actually, if you try the demo? You'll find that it's actually enjoyable. Not so much a "Halo knockoff" as it is a tribute to Tribes. It is a little like Halo, sure, but to me it has more in common with Tribes. There are very few ways to instakill anyone in this game so the fighting is a little slower but it is more engaging.

    played the demo, didnt grab me, looks like there is heavy emphasis on multi player, for some of you thats probably a good thing, not for me though, i like to get immersed in a deep story and if they skimp on single player then im not interested, the game has gotta mean something to me
