Secret Star Wars Weapons over Normandy
LucasArts reveals that its World War II action game features unlockable Star Wars-themed content. Potential spoilers inside.
LucasArts has today revealed details regarding some of the unlockable bonus content that appears in Totally Games' World War II-themed Secret Weapons Over Normandy. Players who complete all 15 missions of the single-player campaigns, in addition to 21 of the challenge missions, will unlock two vehicles from the classic Star Wars universe--the Incom T-65 X-Wing and the Sienar Fleet Systems TIE Fighter.
The X-Wing and TIE Fighter starships will be available in the game's instant action mode, and console players will also be able to pit squadrons of the crafts against those of their friends in the split-screen multiplayer mode. The Star Wars vehicles in Secret Weapons Over Normandy boast authentic sound effects from the Skywalker Sound Library and a level of detail that includes such touches as X-Wing astromech droids with heads that move as they track nearby targets.
