Postal: Classic and Uncut announced
Whiptail Interactive announces plans to rerelease its controversial 1997 action game in a limited-edition pack.
Whiptail Interactive has today announced that it will release a limited-edition Postal pack in both North America and Europe next month. Postal: Classic and Uncut will include the original Postal game, the Special Delivery multiplayer expansion pack, the "Monday" demo of Postal 2, and a Postal 2 bumper sticker.
"The high-profile launch of Postal 2 generated a huge amount of interest; people wanted to know where the idea came from for the game--they were keen to see the original Postal," said Chris Warrender, publishing director at Whiptail Interactive. "Not to disappoint, we are publishing the original game with the Special Delivery pack in a limited-edition Postal: Classic and Uncut pack."
First released in 1997, Postal is an irreverent action game that was banned in 10 countries and was the subject of a six-year lawsuit filed by the United States Postal Service. For more information on Postal, check out our full review of the game.
