PlanetSide: Core Combat launches

Expansion pack for massively multiplayer sci-fi shooter takes gamers underground.

The eternal war of PlanetSide went underground today with the release of the massively multiplayer shooter's first expansion pack. PlanetSide: Core Combat adds six new underground combat zones, filled with new alien artifacts, vehicles, and weapons, to the game. The expansion also carries several gameplay options and enhanced empire bonuses.

PlanetSide: Core Combat has a retail price of $29.99 and requires the original PlanetSide, which costs $39.99, to run. The game is rated "T" for Teen.
