    TERRIBLE voice acting and I can barely hear the darn weapon sound effects... but I like everything else I'm seeing. Not bad for a teaser. Room for improvements and they have the time to make them.

    Please please PLEASE let this be a remake of Mechwarrior 2 & MW2 Mercs - the clan invasion and the war that ensued is like the best part of the entire series!!!...
    sigh, the official site says the setting is long before the clan wars... ='(

    Prob the Warhammer since it was an old destriod from the Macross/Robotech anime and Harmony Gold still owns the copyrights. Too bad, I really had my hopes up for this one.

    SORRY GUYS But from what Ive read on several sites it seems like due to some legal copyrite from harmony gold the atlas and/or warhammer will not be used in this one. What annoys me is that a small argument is causing all of us to wait longer untill its released.

    Not only a sweet vid to preview, but a great franchise to build on. I like that they are taking it to pre-clan. I like the cockpit view and the realism both with the destructible environments and the way the mech handles. I've played every mech game for the pc that's come out and let's face it, none have been as well-concieved or realistic as this. I hope we hear more about this soon...

    The graphics look incredible... however, the combat doesn't look as intense. If that really is in-game footage then I can see how it could get very boring very quickly.

    I think some of you may be missing that this seems more like a first person Mechassault than a true PC Mechwarrior game. Very arcadey looking. Which is precisely what I want being a Mechassault warrior from w-a-y back.

    I was also a huge fan of Chromehounds online. But this looks nothing like that.

    Oh yeah about time we see another Mechwarrior Game. I sincerely hope that they return to the MW3 mode of operation. It was nice being able to truly customize your Mech and destroy certain parts (always need the salvage). Too bad there will never be a mechwarrior movie (not enough interest)

    If you like mechs, try ouut front mission 4 for ps2, or front mission for ds. Or Just anticipate Front Mission Evolved which is a third person shooter which is to be released in March.

    over on the G4 website someone mentioned that a online mechwarrior game like eve online would be a good idea, i was wondering what others thought here..i think it would be a brilliant idea..with all the factions/empires/organisations involved with all the different systems and planets in it it would be a very in depth full game..everything from simple one on one pvp battles in the solaris arenas to huge battles involving maybe dozens or hundreds of players..each in charge of their own mech/tank etc..and the ability to have player owned corps producing the mechs or whatever..the scope would be brilliant i believe

    Played Mechwarrior 3 back in the days. Great game! Favorite combo was Bushwacker with lasers and shooting the legs off the enemies. Mechwarrior 4 was kind of a disappointment for me. Couldn't shoot legs off the mechs anymore.

    The trailer looks great hope they focus more on the gameplay and tactical elements than on the graphics. Things like if you stand in water it cools down your mech faster and make all parts of the mech destroyable. Looking forward to see what this new installment of MW will bring.

    hmm never played this franchse before .... if this was all the game had ,id say it wud be preety booring ..(fr me)
    but great graphics nevertheles.
    Hope the game turn out better thn the video ..

    I played the hell out of MechWarrior 3, and to me it was the greatest in the franchise. It seems to have a lot of that sort of influence in this game, hope it comes out great. I can't wait!

    Also and sorry if i rambled in my last post but i just wanted to say one more thing, but the point of ejecting..is to survive..also, maybe trying to get back to your base or dropship or even out of the battlezone is part of the mission??..just cause your mech dies doesnt mean YOU have to. I'm eagerly awaiting more info on this game..and hopefully it will not disappear like other games ive been waiting for like highlander(just to name an example)

    ok, first..im amazingly stoked by this, brilliant looking video and gods here's hoping the in-game graphics are that good..i played the original PC mechwarrior games and loved them, still have them..here's also hoping we hear more about how this game is coming along soon.
    second..looks like the environment is destructible as thats how he destroyed the first mech..blowing out the building underneath it..very good idea that..must keep it in mind when im playing it(hopefully before too long)
    third..he should have tried to get behind it..or hit it from the side instead of staying in front of it..bad idea to stay in front of an atlas thats not on your side and about you lot saying it looks like the fighting is slow.......come on..its a mech battle and not only that..its a mech battle in a city..its not like running and gunning on foot with a rifle..there is no running around like a blue bottomed fly..if youre lucky you can get a lucky shot to the enemy cockpit..or..if you alpha strike and you dont overheat to the point of shut down..you may cause him/her to shutdown..or kill the mech..maybe youre trying to compare this type of game with things like halo, theres more tactics in this type of game than in a game like halo (no im not putting down halo or saying it doesnt have tactics at all..)..you have to look at this type of game differently..and actually..that battle didnt last that long and it would have ended sooner if the buildings werent providing cover for that warhammer.

    Yeah, gotta love the Atlas mech. Though the Kodiak might give it a run for its money. So is this part in game and movie? Regardless, I can't wait!

    Hey any chance to take out Dr. Robotnik's giant mech from the end of sonic 2 is a game worth buying. Seriously that mech around the 1:05 mark looks just like it!

    I've been a fan of the Battletech boardgame since the 80's. I even played at a Battle Tech Center in San Diego (with super low-tec GFX), when the internet was still in the DOD's hands. This is like my childhood dream come true!

    i am just stunned!

    i like the new FP feature i see here. making it more "in your face" action is just what the game needed.
    i also like the huge scale of it all it really makes you feel like a giant now.(in older version i didnt feel very big :/)

    know to little info atm but this looks promising.
