Made by Kiddies has recently updated its official Web site with the first information on Mech Arena: The First Match. The futuristic action game, which is currently in development for both the PC and Xbox, will see players battling with giant robots in the 30th century.

Mech Arena: The First Match will allow players to build robots using around 50 different body parts, and as they progress through the game they'll be able to not only carry out repairs but also invest in upgrades, new weapons, and replacement pilots. The single-player game will consist of 18 missions in total, while 10 specially designed arenas will be available for multiplayer contests.

No release date or publisher for Mech Arena: The First Match has been announced at this time. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
