    my favorite game of all time when it came out it was beautiful its a classic in my book part 2 has been in the making for a while now it definitely be good at the least, i heard u can put bodies in the trunk that alone is badass

    BenBenBen93, The game is unique for a few things: The most spectacularly told story in a game (best ending too), great shooting, and perfect car chases.

    well, NOW in 2009, the graphics looks out-dated. but Mafia 2 looks great though !

    to put minds at ease i can't see mafia 2 being bad at all. it's been nearly two years since the first trailer - they must be putting serious work.

    For its time this game had a insane graphic and the storyline is also great...just love this game xD

    I never played this, but I hope that mafia II does well too. P.S. did someone go through all the comments and give thumbs down for every comment that said they liked the game? wierd.

    one of the best games i've ever played. best 1930's atmosphere ever created in a game. i hope to god Mafia 2 lives up to the standard.

    I really really really really really hope that Mafia 2 lives up to the first game.....but that sure is a lot to expect, especially with the state of most current PC releases. I've got everything crossed for this game!!!!!

    Man, I loved this game. It was just so powerful, and it was the first time that a game filled me with emotion.

    This is still a great game on the PC. But it really sucked on the consoles. It was terrible for them, view distance was terrible and aiming was even worse. But I really enjoyed it on the console and it really is a blast to play to this day.

    @ thenewau; If you only played the first few missions of the game you realy can't comment on it now can you? Granted driving cars isn't realy exciting but keep in mind that you are driving cars from the 30's. The shooting sequences are realy where this game shines. It hasn't aged very well graphicaly though. View distance is prety crapy and the textures are not up to standards of current gen games ofcourse.

    i played it and it was complete garbage the drivign is awful and you drive alot in the beginning as a taxi driver and take too many fares, where is the shooting, but what the hell? look who is reviwing...
