    Looks like heaps of fun. FFS it's not the CSS engine...it's an updated version of the Source engine. I'm glad the gameplay looks fast and frantic. There have been too many slow paced FPS games lately.

    this game is just good if you play co op , grafics suck :p and the story is simple :p not half life lookalike ... :p its just a fun game , probebly a 8.5

    Even if that is the speed it is still going to be a sweet game... and that makes it more harder and more team work' ish either way am still getting it... and come on split screen co-op that's beast.

    Yeah the game seams kind of easy. Of course it can be the dificulty setting. Still in most SH games you get owned and powned in 5 hits most.

    IDK, this game seems really not fun. It just...looks like a mod for CS. I mean, that's kind of the point, but why would I pay to buy this is the point I am making. Oh and it kind of bugged me that you can lay on the ground for like fifteen seconds getting torn apart by a zombie, then immediately start shooting at things with your pistol. Maybe I missed something.

    adamas78 I'll be more than happy to post screens comparing the two when i get them. But I completely disagree with your "L4D>Farcry2" statement. The Dunia engine is far superior to the CSS engine, show me a scene in which they are rendering massive draw distances in Left 4 Dead that are at Crysis (very high) quality or better and I'll believe you.

    Wow Valve fantastic..
    I've playing alot of Zombie Panic in anticipation!!
    Source engine is very flexible, and the GFX you see on L4D are much better than CCS.
    More powerful CPU/GPU nowadays show you infinitely more geometry, character rigging, lighting/texturing etc. If you have played CCS you can see the engine is scaled for todays technology on L4D. What more do want?
    Never mind the genre making gameplay!
    L4D>Farcry2 (Farcry2 looks good, but nothing really new, and there are better MP games period. Valve is king, MP is true gaming)

    The source/counter strike engine may be pretty old but they update it with every game. I think this game is going to be awesome.. they don't make very many good zombie games any more.

    the clipping doesn't impresss me, nor does the fact that they're STILL using the very dated CounterStrike engine... I dunno this is gonna be tough when put up against FarCry 2. I like the idea it brings but the visual execution kinda leaves me a bit turned off.

    yeah i heard that. i was kinda lookin forward to this but the graphics look really dated.
    graphics aren't everything i know but i can't imagine playing this for long with farcry 2 on the way.
    am i crazy or does this look dated by about 2 years? let me know

    I'm really excited about this game, I love all of Valve's games and everything, but anyone else think Source is started to get really dated? I hope they get a new engine in their next game after L4D. Not that it's a huge deal or anything...

    i think the actual gameplay is slower... the action is crazy fast???

    I wonder if a ps3 version will be made.. i am getting the pc version for sure, but i would like to play it with 4 buddies on a huge hdtv on a saturday night and i don't plan on buying a 360 for just that reason.... anybody feel me?! lol

    I really don't like the lack of zoom, and when the infected get ontop of you, it looks really sketchy how they just tear you apart and you just kinda scratch at them. ?
