Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K. 2 Gold

The third-person shooter, starring Julie Strain from the Heavy Metal movies and comic magazine, goes gold.

After a long July spent putting the finishing touches on Heavy Metal FAKK 2, Ritual has announced that the game is now finally complete and was sent into production this morning. It won't be long before the game is available - Ron Diamant of Ritual has revealed to GameSpot that the game should be in stores starting Wednesday.

Based on the world of the Heavy Metal movies and comic magazine, the game brings the tight pacing of a shooter together with a third-person over-the-shoulder perspective. Playing as the heroine Julie Strain, you must save your futuristic homeworld of Eden2 from the sinister Gith Corporation.
