Multi Theft Auto MTA is a multiplayer modification for Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto game series. It's one of the first reverse-engineered modification to incorporate multiplayer into a closed-source single-player PC game.

This mod is not a "worlds first" for San Andreas, MTA has been around since GTA III but only now MTA with MTA: DM allows you to get out of your car because the previous online San Andreas mod MTA: Race was only about racing.

I play MTA: Race on a daily basis and it has a huge community, MTA: DM is still a Beta so it has many bugs still.
