Dead to Rights coming to the PC

Namco has today announced that it has signed a five-year exclusive licensing agreement with Hip Games for the rights to publish Dead to Rights on the PC in North America and Europe. The game, which was released for all current console platforms last year, is a third-person action title in which players assume the role of a Grant City police officer named Jack Slate who's been framed for the murder of his own father.

"Dead to Rights is one of Namco's most valuable video game properties," said Garry Cole, senior vice president of sales, Namco Hometek. "We look forward to working with Hip Games and LSP to bring this great franchise to PC gamers throughout North America and Europe."

"We look forward to Dead to Rights' continued success on the PC and believe it will help our publishing unit, Hip Games, continue to strengthen its position in the market."

It's not yet clear whether the PC version of Dead to Rights, which is scheduled for release this fall, will differ in any way from the console versions, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
