    The game does look amazing however this story it's allready been told in games like Halo or Far Cry... still it is very well designed and definatelly raises the bar in terms of graphic detail. I played with the ATI Raddeon 4800 and tough i couldnt play it in Very High since that mode is only possible in windows vista still i got amazaed all the time by the beautifull landmarks. Very good game.

    this is just like halo 3. the koreans are the covenant, and then the aliens come (the flood) and you are fighting 4 survival. play halo and then play this game. ull see.

    Monkey there will be a crysis for ps3 and xbox 360. Its called crysis 2 and its made with cryengine 3 and yes it will also be on pc.. The graphics look good but its not going to be crysis very high good.

    Sorvos its far from average :-o its nt just its graphics that hold it it, the combat is frantic, you get enough of an open world mechanic to make it more interesting and the suites abilities make combat very very intersting,,,,,actualy it sounds a bit like far cry now,,,,,

    must be one of the best games ever created, until typically of crytek you get to the supernatural element which just ruins everything brilliant about the first two thirds.

    The second best thing about Crysis (the first being graphics) is the shotgun. You can actually kill someone that's 30 feet away in 2 shots. Take that Call of Duty!

    It's just an average game. A real gamer should know that. I'm not saying it's bad, far from it, but it's not as spectacular as you hear. Average and that's it. If tremendous graphics is the only thing that matters to you and you don't give a damn about everything else, then yeah, you'll love Crysis.

    And it's not that much of a sandbox as they say it is. If you want a real sandbox game, play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl or Clear Sky. Now those are really open minded games.

    everyone who says that crysis cannot be run on ps3 is WRONG! Crytek have stated that they are putting a team together from ps3 developers which could mean a possible ps3-port. As for the 360, there is no info. If there are people that dont believe me, type in 'crysis on ps3' in google, click on the first link. Its not definate, but its possible

    the thing i hate about pc games.
    hardware.
    its soo annoying that you dont have the latest hardware thats always freaking expensive
    most of the beautiful graphic games.
    sucks to get soo much stuff just to play it

    in my opinion shooters are basically the same. go around shoot things hence the name.

    a good shooter should bee a good story line and a a must for me are AUTHENTIC WEAPONS, unique weapons. not another machine gun or shot gun. ive seen soo many in my life playing games

    Csalbertcs nothing gets more Hi Def than real life. It's impossible. I think the closest we could get would be to put live action somehow into video games.

    go ali!! I totally agree i mean halo was meant by the developers bungie to be a pc before microsoft decided it to be a xbox game. call of duty was a pc game medal of honor was a pc game pc rulez!!!! Xbob 360 is really cool 2 but i like pc better. just my opion srry if i hurt any feelings

    Whenever I play this game, I don't play it through a pc monitor, I play it through a window. That's how good this games graphics are.

    But...

    I want graphics so real that PC games look BETTER than the real world, I want to look out the window and think, "Those graphics suck! I'm going to play on my PC."

    Games have to give some kind of direction and objectives to achieve in scenarios or else it would get kinda boiring pretty quick man, They couldn't possibly write code for ALL of the randomness that can happen in life. (At least not at this point with the limitations in home setups.) But if they just gave you an environment dropped you in it and said 'here ya go' would that REALLY make sense? (Or be a whole lot of fun after a while?) You have to be guided in a direction to some extent I think.

    You do however still have control of the senario within the senario kind of thing. You get to decide HOW you take out the enemies in what order you do it in, and from what kind of approach that makes the most direct sense. Otherwise you might as well take a few steps out the front door of your house and have a real-life simulation of whatever it is you want to do for now, cause games won't be doing it for a while. This is all my opinion of course and I could be wrong.

    i have played the demo and it may come close to my all time faves cal of duty. I f=doubt it will beat cod in my book but it may come in close second. It looks awsome

    This game would be quite awesome on a 360 but i dont even think that a 360 meets the requirements to run it on ultra high. You need atleast a QX series quad core at 3 ghz,600 watt psu,4 gb of RAM,and running High-end videocards in either SLi(Nvidia) or Crossfire(AMD).Ive seen 2 9800GTX´s in SLi handle this game real good ...but damn youre gonna spend atleast a GRAN to run this game at ultra high x16AA at 2500 x 1600 maybee in this year with the i7 core and more support for 64-bit OS,maybee we can all enjoy it the way it was meant to be.But as it goes for console...I really doubt a 360 can handle it(atleast not in Ultra high with 16 alaising)

    people who say ps3 is bad,go see the diffrence between mgs4 and halo3,mgs4 is the game of the year,it is the only game that is really perfect,i mean crysis is awsome but the games graphics is mind blowing,not any pc can run this,but it is the best shooter ever,the is the only reason why crysis isn't perfect,and about fallout 3,remember ps3 uses better technolgy than xbox 360,and it uses blu-ray,and games like mgs4 is way better graphics than fallout 3,and the only company that can make a good exculsive game for a consle is the company who created it and know what is best for it.

    consle fanboys i think crytek can make a minigame for this game on the xbox 360,come on this game's gameplay and graphics are not from this gaming genration it is from the future of gaming,this is what shooters should been,very realstic,if they make this for xbox 360 the first explosion in this game will make your xbox 360 explode LOL!!!!

    people who are saying that a consle price is affordble so why buy a pc,the awnser is you already need a pc for your life so upgrading it is as much as buying a consle,second thing is that upgrading your pc is like buying a new consle,i mean in 2012 if i upgrade my pc,consle owners should change there consles right,and consle games are very expinseve,and games should not be perfect i mean playing crysis at good graphics is like playing halo in an full HDTV,and you can surf the web you can use messenger,you can play games like red alert 3 and some shooters even better than a consle thanks to the keyboard and mouse but consle still offers great gameplay in adventure games like assassins creed,i'm saying that consles are good but they can't beat pc's in shooters and graphics that is imposible.

    everybody who is saying that this game must be for a consle is wrong,this is the only reason you want to buy a high preformence pc,this must be a pc exclusive and anyway how the hell an xbox 360 can run these graphics,it is really mind blowing graphics,if you tried this on an xbox 360 no wonder it will overheat and explode LOL!!!, xbox 360 fans don't dream that this would come to an xbox 360,anyway you can play halo 3 on an xbox 360 what do you want more greedy fanboys at least let gamers have a reason to buy a pc.

    EA needs to throw console gamers a freaking bone. I'm a PC gamer, but i own a 360 and i enjoy playing quite a bit. THey could easily reformat it for the xbox. i even use a 360 controller somtimes when i play. i ont think a ps3 version will ever come because the formatting is way too different, and its not worth ea's time. i would re-purchase this game for a console. the multiplayer would be sweet on xbl too.

    but anyway, this is one of my favorite fps next to the half life series.
