Damn i have a Pentium 4 3.4 OC to 4.0 (socket 47 2 gigs ddr-400 ram and a x1950 512mb (agp) with wireless xbox360 controller and i can run with medium/high settings with no lag except maybe a lil lil bit in intense action parts of game..point is i can run this game with my old school azz system so those of you who cant run it shouldnt have to upgrade much....anyways this patch did help i did notice a lil more better performance.

My game ran nearly perfectly smooth with all settings on high w/o aa with one gig of ddr2 8500 1066 ram with my q6600 and ati hd2900. It only crashed every once in a long while. Now with 2 gigs it is more perfect. dx9 on win xp

have a 2.2 dual core 4200+ 3 gigs ram 520v psu BFG 8800 gts oc 640bm. Game ran not to ok on dx10 with all settings very high AA off. after patch was able to make playable @ same settings. Have overclocked my GC to 600/821 and now works very ok with 2x AA. Go figure, Should have just overclocked to begin with. This game uses gpu alot more than cpu.

I've already started a game (fresh, no patches). If I apply the patch now, will I still be able to use my game saves or will I need to start over?

Just picked crysis up and it works fine but only on low settings, im running it on a Nvidia 7950 GT OC 512 Mb with 2 gigs ram and core duo 2.8 each. So i want it to run on ultra high but my video card kinda sucks, so im going today to pick up Nvidia 8800 GTS/X 780 mb. This update helps a bit with lag but still not enough for me.
