Gathering signs Chrome for Europe

Gathering has today announced that it will publish Chrome in Europe in September. The game, which is currently in development at Poland-based Techland, is a futuristic first-person shooter in which players assume the role of an interstellar bounty hunter named Bolt Logan.

The sci-fi setting has enabled the team to run riot with their imagination, and gamers will be able to roam freely around massive game environments with the technology of the future at their disposal," said Pawel Marchewka, managing director at Techland. "Given their commitment to the genre, Gathering is an ideal partner on this project and we are thrilled to be working alongside them."

"As a tactical first-person shooter, Chrome expands upon our already existing strong portfolio of titles in this genre, while offering players a totally original setting and diverse style of play," said Gary Lewis, international managing director of Take-Two Europe. "The compatibility test demo has already proven incredibly popular with gamers worldwide and we eagerly anticipate the same reception for the full game in September."

Chrome will feature 14 single-player missions set on five different worlds, and, as players progress through the game, they will get to take control of a number of different land-, sea-, and air-based vehicles, as well as employ a vast arsenal of high-tech weapons and gadgets.
