my game keeps just crashing when im in the spawn screen... hope this fixes it.. hey does this patch do everything the other patches have too??

just reinstalled after 6 months away and I get Punkbusted over and over and i'm NOT cheating WTF??

anyone else get this? got any advice?

I run this game easly and my PC in last gen. It is a fun game with good graphics and low requirments. This game is fun too and I can't stop playing it.

Too much of squad glitches problems.Kit Saving little bit i found problem in it not much of it.I guess EA will never learn.

Wow, I must be lucky....I've had a great time playing this game for over a year and still play a few days a week....(too many new games to play)
Yes EA is annoying and all the patching is bullcrap, but I have had no real issues with this game....(on my mediocre pc)

I've had nothing but a pleasant time with Bf2142, never any patching problems and Im ranked out with over 700 dog tags. I've owned it since last october when it came out. Top notch multiplayer. BLOWS THE CRAP OUT OF COD4's multi-player and it's over a year old.

ive been playing battlefield 2142 for a while now but since the new 1.40 patch came out i have to keep reinstaling the frickin thing everytime i want to play it then it shows up on my firwall as battlfield 2 and i havent even got it so i have to delete that one and replace it with the the proper exe how mahy bugs do they want to add to this game i thought these patches were supposed to fix theses problems instead its getting worse EA please line up to be shot also connection to the server problems constantly or problem with your connection E.A sort your frickin heads out does EA mean eat ass droppings

um funny that must mean you and your friends have crappy PCs me on the other hand have a stable PC never had a problem with bf2142

Unbelieveable how many problems everyone I know has had since the 1.25 patch I think, it's as if they meant to stop people playing this? Well i've moved on and check every so often to see if they have sorted it but no joy yet. Hope the next game they release works! I think this is the worst game patching I have ever experienced! at this rate they may have to put a £10 price on the game to entice some of us back to buy it over here!
-EA sort your life out (or is it Dice etc) if this industry was regulated properly you'd be dragged into court for trading standards, when the disclaimer says that 'online experience may change' it's meant to mean that it still f-ing works!!!
Anyone here that can find out if we can all have refunds from the Trading Standards Authority for this?

The fileshack path worked, then i had to reinstall several times. I got it to work with only 1.40 on a clean install, then i installed Northern Strike and patched it again. Then i could only play on some servers. This on top of the bugs and the fact that it wouldn't play nice with my X-Fi have led me to just sell the game and move on. Good luck.

if you get the patch from EA the game should work and you should have most of the servers back except the ones that havent updated yet

I bought bf2142 a couple weeks ago, I installed the 1.25 patch and showed about 300 servers and now theres about 30 servers of the same version. There is a server i wanted to play but it said I was running an older version. Any idea why.

i did the same thing only when i installed the 1.40 patch there were no servers for me to go on and when i reinstalled patch 1.25 there were only 30 so servers to play on and the ones i cant play on say they are a newer version than my game.

Strange.There are only the test beta servers when I installed v1.4,so I reinstalled the game back to v1.25,but there are only a few servers left.When did all the servers go?
