Even though Ive got several hundred gigs on several drives.. why does the installer tell me I don't have enough space??

I think the download manager is phenomenal, but thats my opinion. And i do wish they would give a more detailed description of this patch, other then that it did stuff.... ha

use download accelerator (DAP) it works really good and I don't have any problems with the download manager

does any patch make it work on vista i am never able to play online says kicked for opertating system..WTFUGE. why does there support not help this game use to rock, NOW IT SUKS BAD

this downloader manager is complete crap i have run it on two different machines both give crash error messages if you brouse the internet or multi task i will contact them about this plus it is not as fast as the old way

crap how? the thing works fine and downloads things 5x faster, at least for me. The only thing I can think of is the automatic background process stuff.

EA Downloader means EA Link?

Well, if you have EA Link installed:
When you start BF2142, before even logging in, it will notify you there's an update and give you the chance to let it go to EA Link and download the patch.
Depending on your connection-speed, the download should be done in minutes.

My download just finished.
It took about 10-15 minutes on an around 4,5MB/s ADSL-connection.
