I agree with cjs-007 in some ascepts. It looks similar to Super Mario Brothers and Metroid, also have speel song, food, pet, treasure and also Good Story. But in the bsgin is a bit boring. A bit less action. But the idea is good.

2D side-scrollers aren't really my cup of tea but seeing as how I've been in a bit of a game rut (can't seem to find anything new worth playing) I thought I'd give the demo a try. Nothing about this game screams "low budget" or "Indie" - the production values are superb and are certainly on par with a big budget commercial effort. From the graphics (very well done) to the voice acting and Gui, it's as polished as they come. The storyline and writing is also top notch. . Those familiar with old school side scrollers will pick up on the controls relatively quickly and the surprisingly deep magic/song system is intuitive and fun. I'd also like to add that while the graphical presentation is a bit saccharine (but in a good way), the writing and voice acting are genuinely intriguing, even morose at times.

I would highly recommend the download, even for those like me who don't necessarily dig 2D side-scrollers.

This game is brilliant - I was happy to spend the $30 - Really psychedelic graphics. I'm Stuck at the Sun Temple stage - the part with all the clock gears and impossible jumping. Any pointers?

This is some trippy stuff. I like it. I would buy the full version as soon as I have the money, but it runs really poorly on my computer. An extremely good game for a 2D though.

Absolutely brilliant, this is the first game ever that I buy, for one simple reason, it´s OKAMI for the the PC. 2 guys and girl with sexy voice made me believe again in basement dreams. 2000+ mate painting highres backgrounds, to help you calculate, I´m a pro painter and I charge 250 for a 1024x768, this guys with no money made a $500,000+ visual adventure plus development plus voice acting plus animations.

admin@bit-blot.com devs mail, send them cheers, and buy the game. Alec & Derek

This is a surprisingly good game. I can't wait to get the full version. It's like Gradius meats the original Ecco the Dolphin. Sort of a slowmo Side Scrolling shooter. Frikkin cool.

    Oh yeah magic and stuff.
    Good work Indies.

Nah, it's better on the PC. Most Indie or creative titles are best on the PC. Leave the Wii to the kiddies, where it belongs... This is a nifty little game.

This game was much better than I expected, it really reminded me of Super Metroid, but underwater. Very professional. I'm seriously thinking I might buy this, and I'll definitely look into these guys' stuff in the future. Oh, and I totally agree with what soulfulDAGGER said about Nintendo hiring them, this game would be awesome on the wii!

Wow. If i were Nintendo i would hire the makers right now. This game would be great for the Wii. Maybe in a sequel have the views switch from 2D to 3D. Great job!

I think it's worth a looksy. May be different enough to be interesting, and the artwork looks pretty original.

I've played it like 2 days ago.
It's a little boring until you get some combat powers, after that it is just great.

I hope these types of games catch on. If so we'll the best of both worlds; the blockbuster games like CoD and the retro-ish indie games!
