AquaNox: Revelation announced
JoWood will release the next game in its underwater action series this fall.
JoWood Productions has announced AquaNox: Revelation, its upcoming underwater action game. Like the previous AquaNox, the new game is set in the future after human civilization has descended underwater to seek refuge from the fallout of a global nuclear war. Players will assume the role of William Drake, a young submarine pilot on a quest to locate his ancestor's legendary treasure. On his journey, Drake will encounter a variety of characters and creatures.
AquaNox: Revelation is built on an enhanced version of the engine used in the previous game, and it features improved enemy artificial intelligence, support for complex models and character animations, and advanced lighting effects.
AquaNox: Revelation is being developed by Massive Development. We've posted some new images in the gallery above that show off two of the new submarines that will be featured in the game, and we'll post more information about the game as it becomes available.
