Netherlands-based publisher Playlogic has recently released the first information on Airborne Troops, which is currently in development for the PC and PlayStation 2 at Widescreen Games. Described as a World War II third-person action adventure, the game will see players assuming the role of an American paratrooper sergeant whose aircraft was shot down--stranding him in occupied France.

Stealth and strategy will play an important role in Airborne Troops, although that doesn't mean that the authentic WWII weapons that feature in the game won't see plenty of use. No further information on the game has been released at present, but we'll bring you more information on Airborne Troops--which is scheduled for release in Europe toward the end of this year--as soon as it becomes available.
