Godus beta arriving September 13
Prerelease trial period for Peter Molyneux's upcoming god game launching next month; gameworld the size of Jupiter, says designer.
A prerelease beta for Peter Molyneux's new Kickstarter-funded god game Godus will launch through Steam on September 13, the industry veteran announced today during a PAX Prime keynote address.
Also during the address, Molyneux revealed that the Godus gameworld is the size of Jupiter. He said it would take the entirety of one's life to scroll from one edge of the world to the other.
Godus is a reinvention of Molyneux's classic god game Populous. It is in development at 22Cans for PC, Mac, and mobile devices, and will not require a constant Internet connection for its single-player mode.
