I bought this game last night and within just a few minutes of playing - you're treating animals and can expand your business. I thought it was too easy and that it was passing by too quickly, but you'll see that it's more involved than it first seems.

First you need to go into town and buy the supplies necessary to start treating the animals. Once you have acquired more money, you can buy more things in town, such as advertising, therapy supplies, and take tests at the University so you can treat more animals. (The tests are pretty easy - You read a paragraph and then answer three questions) Afterwards you go back to your practice and the patients start arriving. They'll come slow at first, but then start picking up the pace later on. It's extremely easy to treat the animals. They give you a summary of what is wrong, and then why it happens, and then how to treat it. They give you all the info you need. All you have to do is pick what they tell you to pick and treat the animal. If you're looking for a game that's more like Hamsterz, or Nintendogs where you actually pet & poke the animal, then you might be a little disappointed. Most animals get treated right and just leave, but some need to be admitted for further care. To be able to do this, you must build Animal Houses, which can be built from the "Office Menu". They buildings take a day to build, but they're worth the time and money because it allows you to admit animals, and treat more problems. You also make a lot more money from having animals stay with you. You must feed, pet & treat the animals daily, and soon their owners will come pick them up.

You can also expand on all the Animal Houses, as well as your own practice. The practice can be expanded by things such as a guest house, where the animals and owners can stay. The sound isn't too bad. The only verbal communication is a "Hello" or "Good Day". Just basic greetings and they have pleasant voices, which I didn't find annoying.

Overall the game is guided by tasks (20 of them), which are pretty easy to pass through as well. Once you do something, like treat your first dog, you can move onto the next task, such as building the dog kennels. I'm afraid that's about all I can offer right now because I've only been playing since last night and have only made it up to the dogs. Horses will come next, and I know you can ride them and such, so it'll be interesting.
