Even though they didn't invent the perverbial wheel here, it's still a fun and well-made game!

I'm too lazy to write a good intro here so I'll just let you move on to the review!

Pat Sajak's Lucky Letters is a crossword-letter guessing game where your goal is to fill in the puzzle before your time runs after three rounds. It is a simple, fun and easy to learn puzzle game. Lemme explain how it works.

The first round is played by giving you the puzzle's theme (TV Show Characters, Catchphrases, e.g.) and then filling in the crossword grid by guessing letters. You'll get between 2-5 free letters (based on difficulty) to reveal throughout the entire puzzle.

The second round is played by filling in the words on ten different rows/columns. A "Lucky Letter" is always displayed in the row, and guessing it correctly will not only fill the correct letter on your current word, but it will fill it in throughout the rest of the puzzle!

Sometimes while playing this round you'll get the chance to play the "Lucky Chance" which allows you to bet your winnings to fill in a bonus row on the grid. You can bet none, some, half, or all of your winnings during this. Whatever your choice, you'll go back to the grid once you finish this bonus word.

The third and final round is called the "Lightning Round." You'll fill in the rest of the puzzle within the allotted time. The rules of the second round still apply. Winning five games consecutively (of any difficulty and/or combination of difficulty) will unlock the Championship Round. This game has the same rules but the grid is HUGE!!! I beaten it only once, but it is possible!
Other modes are "Lucky Ten" which is where you fill in the puzzle using ONLY the "Lucky Letters." Local Multiplayer is also included for up to four players.

Even though this title isn't the most original (basically it's a crossword puzzle played like hangman,) it is surprisingly fun and addictive. Maybe my opinion is biased because I got in new out of a bargain bin, but I enjoyed this game (and still do!) Give it a try if you like these kinds of games.
