Let me start off by saying that this game is a lot better than all of the bad reviews this game has gotten - It's a simple yet fun game. The graphics are very, very cartoony, but I personally, feel like it added some creativity to the game while others felt it was "annoying" and "cheap" looking. The gameplay is simple--shoot newspapers at houses! However, there are also bosses which are entertaining, too. The controls work fairly well, too: Z to shoot a paper left, and R to shoot a paper right. You move with the analog stick (or D-Pad, your choice) and you accelerate by pushing the A button and slow down by pushing the B button. The wacky sound effects are reminiscent to a cartoon from the 50s, and the music is well-done in the game as well - fits the cartoony mood. One of the things I felt Paperboy 64 faltered on was the lack of multiplayer and the fact that it could've been longer. Still though, if you're looking for a nice sequel to the original game, and you can live with the art style, then check this game out.
