You'll have a good time. Charming, but not kiddy. One of the most impresive games this gen, and just by the graphics.

User Rating: 9.8 | Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door GC
I've never played Paper Mario, this is the first time I get to the series, and I have to say that I've been really impressed. The story seems to be simple, and it is, but is engaging as the chapters pases, and it engages you till the point that you are worried about what's happening. You worry about the answers you'll choose while you're in the game. The controls are normal, is a good RPG. The system combat is revolutionary, now is not just taking turns to strike. Now is more than that (Nintendo did a good job making a unique system combat), you have to give a good show, so the people (yes, you're like in a theater) acclaims you; if you don't they'll throw you things that will affect you in battle. Sounds are nice, normal but well designed, I've had good memories when some old tunes sound, with new remixes. Graphically the game is outsanding, is perfect. Is artistically well designed, vibrant colors, good backgrounds, excellent animations making it feel like real paper. In fact, most of the time you'll be playing, you'll be seeing the backgrounds and enemies, is like playing a cartoon. This game deserves good marks, it excelled every area, good gameplay, sound, mechanics, perfect graphics; you'll have a good time with this game.
