A challenging and fun game.

Not exactly hard core wargaming, but this is probably a good thing. PG is slick (compared to many previous PC wargames) and visuall pleasing with good gameplay that will keep you engaged.
There are times when it can be tedious, especially when replaying a level several times chasing a Major victory only to miss it by a whisker each time. The missions also have high replay value as you attempt to refine your tactics on higher difficulty settings.
I would probably rank this alongside Steel Panthers or Close Combat in terms of guaranteeing an enjoyable wargame experience. This is especially true when you consider that you can pick it up for virtually nothing by now. Just check it will still run on your copy of Windows.
