if u have played panzer general, you know what to expect from this game. slitherine ltd and matrix gamez tried to resurrect the critically acclaimed series with new improvements without eliminating the classical elements of panzer general. Panzer Corps is a solid turn-based strategy game just like panzer general. this game contans 4 huge campaigns that let u command german army from 1939-1945. the exciting part of the campaign is it s non linear nature. depending on your performance high command send you to different missions. main campaign cover almost all the famous theaters of WW2 (except north Africa). you can customize and upgrade your units. one of the most nice additions are naval units and paratroopers (with realistic elements like miss drops) and also there is new features like "Mass attack" .

graphics are acceptable, though they could be better. unit movements are not so smooth and there is no movement animations. gunfire sound effects are amazing. multiplayer based on PBEM. you can accept challenges of other players or make a challenge. multiplayer battles are fun. there is a clean online community out there.

anyway, panzer corps is a descent followup to the great panzer general. this game can satisfy old fans in both strategic depth and new additions. and thanks to the better presentation and a nice tutorial, this game can attract those who new to Panzer series and turn-base strategy. without a doubt, Panzer Corps is one of the best turn-based strategy game out there, if you are a war gamer dont miss it.
