New RE5 Content Heading for Live Marketplace
According to Famitsu, the content that is heading for the new versions of Resident Evil 5 will also hit the Xbox 360. The bonus mission involves the scenario Chris and Jill had as seen through flashbacks in the main game. It is expected to be about 2 hours of gameplay, and reportedly features more horror than in the main story of Resident Evil 5. What that means exactly is unclear, but it does sound promising. No word yet if 360 users can download this bonus episode, or if a rerelase of the retail game is in the works.

Well the actual retail rerelease is coming to Playstation 3, in the form of a totally revamped version with motion controls.

Yeah, I am hoping it's DLC on the 360. That's DLC that I would actually buy, as opposed to the versus mode.

I hope it is available as DLC, as I already own the game. I really can't see why it shouldn't be DLC, surely. I'd buy it anyway. I always thought those Jill and Chris flashbacks would make for a good add-on episode.

According to some posts on REHorror, Capcom says it's too big to release DLC, and that they were already planning to release a new version of the game with the extra content before the game was even out. So basically they cut out 1/3 of the game before release so that they could make us buy it twice...

I hope it comes out both as dlc and retail version. I'm willing to buy the new retail version.

Good news about the Alternate Edition. The saves and trophies carry over.
