While Pluto has been discarded as a planet, Planet Half-Life has grown larger, changing the look and feel of it for the better. Amongst many new additions, the Black Mesa: Source interview is hard to miss. In it, the developers of Black Mesa: Source talk about what changes they are willing to make, and additionally, there are 3 brand new screenshots:

Planet Half-Life: Have you decided whether you'll use the MP5 or the M4?Click here to read the interview in full.
Montero: We'll be using both the mp5 and the m4. We plan to have the mp5 implemented by default, but players will be able to use a cvar to change the viewmodel to the m4 if they wish to. This will be a purely visual change, and won't effect anything as far weapon damage, fire rate, and ammo usage go.
Planet Half-Life: Does this mean that the m4 will continue to use 9mm ammo (rather than 5.56mm ammo)?
Rose: Yes - The weapons will deal equal amounts of damage and fire the same with the shared stock of 9mm ammo.
Planet Half-Life: What about weapons? Will you add any new toys?
Rose: New weapons will not be featured.

I'm mixed about the new PHL site. It doesn't look as pleasing as I expected.
LOL! Now that you point it out bum_boy, he does. Looks like they'll need to rework that guy a bit.
This is my most closely watched mod and I can't wait for it's release. Those screenshots keep getting better.
I've never been a fan of those Planet sites, or the parent site either. Something about them just chaps my hide.
I'm wondering if VALVe is going to put the game on Steam or even make it the official replacement of Half-Life: Source. If they didn't promote a mod of this magnitude then I'd be shocked. This is about as big as one of the top FPS's coming out.

Sweet!
