Introducing Beatles Rock Band, Left 4 Dead 2, Splinter Cell, and more!

The conference begins with the cinematic introduction of the Beatles, with two of the songs playing in the background where it introduces the upcoming game, Beatles Rock Band at the end of the cinematic clip.  On September 9th, 2009, the Beatles albums are going to be released and remastered and the Beatles Rock Band game will be released. The game will also have downloadable songs, including full albums you can get at the music store. 

  Tony Hawk (a professional skater) comes to the stage. He introduces his new game (Tony Hawk Ride), and also a skateboard controller you can use in the game. It looks very similar to a skateboard. It has a sensor to show where your hands and feet are on the skateboard. The game is going to be released later on in the year.

Another game video has been introduced, known as Modern Warfare 2. The game will be released in stores on November 10th, 2009. The game play is shown also with cut scenes, to give you a sneak peak on what's in store for the game. There will be two map packs released on Xbox Live.

Three people from Square Enix walk to the stage to introduce the upcoming game Final Fantasy 13. It's been over 20 years since the first Final Fantasy game has been released, back in 1987. Last year in E3, it was announced that Final Fantasy 13 was going to be released on the Xbox 360, the first time a Final Fantasy game would be released on a Microsoft console (other than Final Fantasy 11 online). The video is being shown of the game play. Remember Odin? He makes a special appearance in the game. There are also 4 active gauges in the game, which can make your character powerful with the abilities the game has in store. The game has been planned to be released in spring 2010.

 Joy Ride, another Xbox Live Arcade game is a racing game with your own Xbox Live avatars. In the game you can customize your own ride and catch big air. You can purchase race tracks, and race with your friends whether they have already purchased it or not. It's expected arrival will be this winter to Xbox Live.

A Left 4 Dead 2 was introduced. The expected arrival is November 17th 2009. A trailer for Splinter Cell Conviction was shown. The demo for the game was shown so the audience can get a bigger and better view of the game. It has been said that a lot has been changed since the last. The game will be released this fall.

Introducing Project Natal, Metal Gear Solid, Facebook, and more to the 360.

Forza Motorsports 3, a new racing game has been introduced to the Xbox 360. It has over 400 different cars from different manufactures. There is also a player created content where you can also share with your friends. It is expected to be released this October.

Imagine this. You are a rookie; you are separated from your team. You are alone; you have to watch your surroundings for unexpected danger. What game am I speaking of? Halo ODST. It will be in stores on September 22nd. Halo Reach will be released in 2010.

Alan Wake is introduced with a live trailer and also a demo. The game is planned to be introduced in spring 2010 in stores.

Music is going to be introduced to Xbox Live, with Last.fm. It will be available for Xbox Live Gold members, later on in the year.  Netflix will have a feature where you can browse movie genres and add movies to your instant watch queue right from your Xbox 360. Sky is going to be introduced to Xbox Live, where you can watch television and movies for other countries, including the United Kingdom.  Video will be introduced where you can watch, download better videos with a huge audience worldwide.

Facebook will also be a new feature on Xbox Live, where you can view photos, add your friends to Xbox Live, update your status. Facebook Connect gives you a chance to show off your gaming experience screenshot moments, as well as playing games with your Facebook friends on Xbox Live. Twitter will also be on Xbox Live. Both features will be on Xbox Live this fall.

Should we go beyond controllers? Should we make you the controller? Microsoft is introducing a new way to play games with motion controls. Unlike the Wii where you actually use a controller, you use your body to kick, grab, communicate and more with no controller included. It is called is Project Natal. It has a sensor that controls movements and voice sensor. I think I just heard a Wii diss in the conference. Ha-ha. I know that has nothing to do with this, but I just thought I would paint that out. There are games where you can paint, play sports, and talk to characters. Milo is the first character who is introduced, where another person is communicating also to where you can actually play, and do other things with the character. Talk about interactive?
