So here it finally is everyone! Starting on Wednesday, August 20th, we'll have kicked off the Mario Kart Wii Tournament! Here's how it'll work. Everyone is in a group, either Group A, B, C, or D and will compete for the right to move on. "How will this work?" you ask. Well, Group A will need to play 4 matches (16 individual races), the top two racers will move onto the next round! Groups B, C, and D, however, will only play 3 matches (12 individual races), and the top two racers will move on as well. After that, we'll split the field into two groups again, and the top two from each race will move on, into the Finals! Check back here for further updates!

Group A: Wednesday, August 20th (4:00pm PST)
Group B: Thursday, August 21th (4:00 pm PST)
Group C: Friday, August 22nd (4:00 pm PST)
Group D: Saturday, August 23th (4:00 pm PST)

It's here! It's really here! Our first Mario Kart Wii Tournament is taking sign-ups. There is currently no limit to the number of people that can sign up, because Mario Kart is able to hold 12 people online at once. So if you want to play, a friend, anyone, and everyone is allowed to play! Sign up here, and my officers and I will add you to our list.

Here's our third union event! Starting on Monday and lasting until Thursday, any time you play an officer or the leader and WIN, you will receieve an extra 2 ranking points in whatever game you decide to play. If you play any person in the union and WIN, you will recieve a bonus point as well. Be sure to post wins in the appropriate threads! Good luck everyone!

Friday, June 13th, our SSBB Tournament will start round 2. Round 2 will last until Tuesday night, and we'll start Round 2. Please make sure to post all TOURNAMENT RESULTS here. Do not post in any other threads if it has to do with the tournament. Please check this website to see your matchups. Be sure to leave the time and day of the week you can play, and afterwards, you can meet up in the chat room as needed. If you want to play, but your opponent doesn't show up or can't make it, please post here, and I'll make sure that you move on. If neither player can make it, I'll flip a coin and the winner will move on.

For everyone:
Season 1 has begun, those playing in the tournament are getting rankings points for playing, so be sure to play in union matches to compete! The first eight people to get 150 rankings points will move into the post-season and will play for the right to be called the Season Champion! That person will receive a champion tag and will hold onto it until the next Season Champion dethrones him!

We've got a lot in store for the union, and Game Night #4 will be taking place on WEDNESDAY instead of the usual Tuesday night. We'll be playing Mario Kart Wii, so get those engines started! Sign-up thread is here, so be sure to sign up.

Rules:
- Remember, this is a double elimination tournament, so if you lose one game, you are still not out!
- Items are optional.

- It is a best-of-three series, first to two wins, will move on.
- If you get disconnected, redo that game. If someone seems to be resetting to avoid losing, please post that you think someone is cheating, and he/she will be dealt with.

Before our Super Smash Brothers Brawl Tournament begins, I'd like to start all rankings off with a clean slate. But before we reset the rankings, we're going to have a "post-season" playoff tournament. The top 8 players will play and the winner will be declared the champion for the season. Afterwards, the Super Smash Brothers Brawl Tournament will be the beginning of the newest season. So, until the completion of the "postseason" all rankings from now to the beginning of the tournament will continue to be updated, but unless you made the Top 8, it's all for fun. Not to worry, the REAL tournament will begin within a week. Thanks for your time!

Yes, it's here. For the very first Union Tournament, we will be playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I'm still deciding on the rules, but so far I'm thinking, 1 vs. 1 matches, 4 stock, items are optional, and double elimination. We need a minimum of 16 people, but I would LOVE to get 32 people. In any case, please make sure that you sign up, and maybe post in your blogs about this tournament, the more people we get, the better this tournament will be. As for prizes, if we have a 16-player tournament, the prize will be a personalized tag, and possibly a WiiWare or Virtual Console game (500 Wii points only). But if we can manage to get a 32-player tournament, the value of the WiiWare or Virtual Console game jumps to 1000 Wii Points. I plan to start this tournament up within the next two weeks, so please sign up as soon as possible, along with the days of the week and/or time, you think you'll be able to play.

Hey everyone. Well, we're into this union for two weeks now, and we've had lots of progress. I can safely say, this is the best union, I've made, and definately the one with the most potential. We've had our first Game Night, and it went by really well. We've also had two events, but those need a bit of work. Also, I'm starting to plan out a Super Smash Brothers Brawl Tournament, so help me discuss it in this thread. Our second Game Night will occur next Tuesday, May 27th, from 6 pm - 8 pm PST, and we will be playing Mario Kart. I'll post more information later on, but for now you can discuss it in the Game Night #2 Thread.

Hey everyone! So, after positive feedback on the idea of a Game Night, I've decided to go ahead and start a weekly Game Night, on Tuesdays from (6 PST - 8 PST). Usually, it'll be where we all jump onto the chat room I created, and we play a different game each hour. So for this week, we'll play Brawl from 6-7, and Mario Kart from 7-8. We'll try this format on Tuesday, and if it's a success, we'll keep it as is. I'll be online at 5:45 and I'll be in the chat room at that time, so feel free to go online whenever. Don't forget, that you can challenge anyone at anytime, and please, don't forget to invite more members. The bigger the party, the more fun we all have.

I'll probably fill the spot with a member who consistantly is a part of this union, and particiaptes. Starting on Monday and ending on Wednesday night, if you challenge anyone and win a match, you'll receive a bonus point for winning. Not only that, but if you challenge an officer or the leader, and win, you'll recieve two extra bonus points! Seeing as how the union is still in its infancy, this is a great time for newcomers, because they can make a quick leap to the top, if they participate in the event. Enjoy!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!! I've changed the way ranking points are distrubuted in Mario Kart Wii, because I had originally thought that you could play with computer players. I found out otherwise, and modified the point system.

With that out of the way, I'd like to say thank you for joining the union, and also like to clarify one more thing. Recruits CAN challenge other recruits. I repeat, you can challenge other members, you do not HAVE TO challenge officers and myself only. Don't worry about challenging each other too many times, my officers and I can handle it. So play away!
