The movie is screening in United Kingdom, Australia, and much of Europe as of today, while audiences in North America and the rest of the world will have to wait until Friday.

Nominees in all categories for the 59th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced today, and The Simpsons features once again in the Animated Program (less than one hour) category. The episode "The Haw Hawed Couple" written by Matt Selman has been chosen to represent the season. Its chances of winning are high, but keep an eye on that South Park episode which is probably its only real competition. The rest of the nominees in the category are:

• Avatar: The Last Airbender "City of Walls and Secrets", Nickelodeon
• Robot Chicken "Lust for Puppets", Cartoon Network
• The Simpsons "The Haw-Hawed Couple", Fox
• South Park "Make Love, Not Warcraft", Comedy Central

The award winners will be announced in mid September.
