Mario Power Tennis is being given a remake called Play Control! Mario Power Tennis for the Wii.
This game does both of the following: deny a new Mario Tennis game for the Wii anytime soon, and provide wii remote action for a mix of control given by Mario Power Tennis and the lack-of-A-button-pushes as in Wii Sports. Although neither is confirmed, both can be assumed.
Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin will be the first two games in the Play Control series of GC remakes for the Wii.

The Wii game is slated to be released in the US on Aug 25, 2008. The game will allow the player to swing the wiimote to control the bat. So that was obvious. Click inside to read more.

We are merging with Nintendoers United to become one big union. This means alot more activity, better topics, more members, and much much more.
