Ok i Know there is a ton of info out and Bd0g had posted that i would post and i will explain what im going to do.
Mainly, I will post all the released information, i am compiling it into a sort of more readable format so its not just bits here and bits there in a random order. Then i am still in the middle of 'aquiring' the game, so as to speak and will do a logged playthrough like Dragoon66116 did with ruby. I should get my means of doing this tomorrow or next week. The main update i will do tonight since i've been a bit busy preparing for back to college and all that but yeah. SO just bare with me on the update thing. If anybody has video links of Music or certain gamelay vids. Post them as that is alwys helpfull and i'll be back on later to finish up

Now im not the leader but i am an officer and i try to help maintain the union as i can and anybody can post information they have found but please before you do post anything make sure its not old. Please make sure its recent and not old or already known. It sounds like alot coming from me and sorry if im overbearing but its to keep the boards clean and the front page as well. if im asking too much stop me. From Serebii August 18, 2009: The Official Site has today released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Heart Gold & Soul Silver games. This trailer did not reveal much new but had some previously unseen footae of Pokémon Centres as well as our first look of the land of Kanto. As such, I have captured some screenshots and placed them into the pre-release picture page
It shows pictures of the pokemon centres and parts of kanto as in a photo I will put soon it shows gold in Pallet town.
In the recent update the site updated with more pictures and a pictures of the global trade station and that wi-fi plaza... And it looks like the one in platinun. And from me taking a closer look at the battle frontier, they're the same. But I'm not sure or anybody if it's gonna have the same frontier brains.
Here's what serebii said August 20th, 2009- Earlier today, the official site updated with a variety of new pictures. However, in addition to this, it also confirms the return of the Global Trade Station and the WiFi Plaza, matching the ones in Platinum completely. In addition to this, it also confirms that the Battle Frontier recently revealed to be in Johto is identical to the one in Pokémon Platinum. It is unknown if the Frontier Brains are the same. Well they're finally out. and i must say they look ugly personally. i don't exatcly know what they were thinking but they could have used the same effect on the old font. Infact looking at it now: 'version' is writin in a slightly different font to the main titles. but honestly they look odd. I though after generation 3 they had the font down pretty much but wow. here is a comparison
now i understand what they are trying to do here in that they are trying to make stylised titles in the way the japanese do it but it isnt working for me. if they'd used the same font for version on the whole title it would have looked more sleek and nicer. the other downside is that they tried to encorporate the Ho-oH and Lugia symbolsbut unlike the way its done in the japanese art it looks out of place in the localized. however there's still time before spring so maybe it'll change or not.thats just my opinion.

Today, on www.pokemon.com, Pokemon Soul Silver and Heart Gold have been introduced. This shows that the names won't change and that the games are coming out in Spring 2010.
They even redid one of the Japanese Videos and made an American Trailer.
Sorry about that but its the 4th time i've tried to do this one update i tried yesterday but had a wedding and couldn't finsh in time, 3 times today once acidentally pressing back, another FFox decided to crash and after running an ActiveX control for my cliboard in IE as it has Copy and Paste to clipboard (The one place where i easlily fault ffox). I do write evereything myself though and not copy and paste, i just use that as i do it in word and save the updates and TTR's for reference and spellchecking is better.

Hello all, Update today.
The Member Card, a Wi-Fi event only item, is being released over mystery gift Wi-Fi. It will allow you to access Newmoon Island and Battle Darkrai. It is Wi-Fi only and is being distibuted to US Platinum owners between the dates of August 3rd to September 13th.
The event is activated by using the member card outside the Locked Harbour Inn at Canalave City. when you enter the owner will put you to sleep and you will arrive at Newmoon Island where you can battle the Level 50 Darkrai. It will know Hypnosis, Faint Attack, Nightmare and Double Team. Along with its ability bad dreams it creates a formidable opponent. The event can be repeated if you defeat or flee from Darkri but why would you want to do that.
So all you US users can get it starting next monday. thats all for now. BTW: my next TTR (This Trainer Rants) will be on some of the In-Game mechanics. It may be up today or tomorow depending on if i finish writing it by then (i pre-write the article in Word). SInce this is short i'll leave you with an interesting video i found. UPDATE: After confirming myself. The Darkrai Event for platinum is also available in Europe through Wi-Fi as i downloaded it yetsterday so all you EU Players Like I, Get Wi-Fi, Catch Darkrai. hehe
Well this is only a preliminary and a test really so i cna get some feedback. If it is a good column then I'll continue it and if not then no biggie. I mainly did it to add more to the union and since i do post more on the front pages and not as much in the topics as the others i decided to do more on the front page. hopefully choice articles like these will also help to bring in users. Video: Thx to sonictrainer, it seems we have 2 new pokémon sunday videos One SHowing a Lugia and Ho-oH encounter, along with the Pokéwalker and Arceus Event
The second are battles from the Pokéfesta 2009 event. I will watch these and give more of a review or insight into them
Art: Ken Sugimori, Art Director, Has released all new art for the 100 Johto Pokemon, much like with FRLG. The official pokédex is on the Jump Link Below containing his Art for all 493 Pokémon.
Events: Now that Japan and America have got their Regigigas', its time for the UK to catch up and get our King of Giants (Regi can mean royal or king in a sense, & Gigas means Giant hence King of Giants). So the UK event dates have been announced. Their at various Locations around the UK listed on the Jump Page.I may go to one as its convinient but i don't know yet.
Lastly, The Pokémon anime has made its way into the Guinness world record books. The 12th Pokémon Movie: Pokémon: Arceus! To The Conquering of Space-Time is now the World record holder for the Most Advance Ticket Sales for an Animatd movie feature with 2,384,198 tickets sold before the movie opened on the 18th of July. It proves Pokémon is a Goldmine for Nintendo and GameFreak. But wow. Pokémon's Influence is a mazing although its not the first time its entered the book. but its great all the same.

Congrats also to the 3 new officers: Yoweeh, Gamedude and Sonictrainer.
CoroCoro has been released and with it comes: A) SCans and B) Scans and Info For Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Today we have some confirmed tidbits for the new game. There is only one scan and it will be posted on the Board for leaked pics and vids.
Eusine will be appearing in this game (which confirms my idea that this is a Gold and Silver Remake based from a crystal perspective but emphasis on the legedary birds and not suicune, which i will probably explain later) he will play a role in the story of the legendary pokemon of the game.
There will be 9 new touch based minigames much like FR/LG had wireless minigames.
The Dialga, Palkia and Giratina that can be obtained through trading a Movie Arceus to HG/SS will all be level 1 and will have the moves Metal Burst (Dialga), Hydro Pump (Palkia) & Shadow Sneak (Giratina) respectively.
Ho-oH & Lugia will both be at Level 45
The Red Gyrados is confirmed and will be at Level 30
And lastly, Supposedly Latias, Latios and Mewtwo are said to be in the game. This is Unconfirmed but i Deduce that mewtwo will be in game as kanto s in it and cerulean cave is a location in kanto and latios and latias will be version specific, i.e. Latios-Gold & Latias-Silver but these are my deductions and are therefore not confirmed

Hello all, ZXP.EXE Here. Yes its that time. New Info is out so im here to give the Lowdown.
for todays info we actually have a new video up on the website which i will endeavour to get screen caps of since i can't steal the ones from serebii 
. But a minor point. Here is the video Link
You'll see some new towns, battles, a new gym Puzzle, which may be for Clairs gym considering the Stile (I would spell that word with a Y but HTML issues wont let me) of it and morty's is shown and the gyms go flying, grass, normal, ghost, fighting, steel, and Ice and i dou't anyone of those would use wat seems to be fire and spikes on moving platforms considering clairs old gym had Lava in it, and now, the pokemon you are with can easily use HM moves so if you have chikorita with cut as your partner it'll run up to the tree, cut it then return to your side. its not to much but its great and we also get to see the title screen which really show off the DSi Capabilities in the graphics department. ALso thanks to some scrutiny, this game will be playable on both the DS and DSi however, nintendo have stated DSi specific games will be backwards compatible but some features will be locked if used on the previous iterations. Since this ad uses the DSi i guess this will be true. You can quote me on this because im probably right 
And in other news, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky (or PMD:EotS if you like Abbreviations like I do ) is coming out on the 1st of October, In america that is. I will Probably make some sort of thread or Banner, If i can, for release = dates for the Upcoming games which should be HG/SS, EotS , Melee: Pokemon Scramble & The 3 PMD Wii games. So expect to see a few new threads pop up. not too many but yeah. I'll be around alot more now since i have my last week of First year College .
