Latest Updates
I'm going to forego the lengthy discussion regarding what's on the latest epsiode of our sports gaming podcast, From the Bleachers. Instead, I want to let you know that, on this episode, we eat vegemite in the studio and record our reactions. I promise you that, unlike our mouths and tongues, you won't be disappointed by the results.
Download the show and listen to it starting at the 14:59 mark. Then, if you're feeling up to it, listen to the rest of the show. We like it and think you will too.
New episode is up, fellas!
This week the crew discusses Sony's new metallic blue PSP bundle, Shaun White's new snowboarding game, and how video games have killed the Olympics. With Aaron and Fred missing in action this week, GameSpot's Jon Miller assumes the role of harassing Shanker. Brian discusses his hands-on with Madden 09 and his woes with UEFA Euro 2008's Captain Your Country mode. Jon shares his love of EA's NCAA Football franchise and the San Antonio Spurs while Shanker suggests new events that could put the Olympics back on the radar. As always, we go over listener emails/phone calls and make our sure-thing picks in the world of sports.

Aaron got his call it pick right!
If you haven't heard Aaron picked that Manchester United win the Champions League finals against Chelsea after a nice save by van der Saar, or a bad penalty kick by Anelka depends on how you want to put it.
It seems that Aaron should keep making soccer picks or should I say ask Justin who to pick? ![]()
Or did he edit the podcast since the results were in before the podcast went live. Hmm
I just kidding, nice pick Aaron, that could have gone eather way.

Regular listeners of From the Bleachers probably know who Josh the Crazy Bears fan is already. For those who don't, he's the nut who A) Also happens to be Aaron Thomas' brother and B) Calls us practically every week and C) is crazy. Last week Josh called in to say that he was burning a Brett Favre collectible card during his phone call. We doubted him on the show but, now, we have the proof that Josh, even though he's a nut, is a man of his word:

I'm afraid to see what he has in store for us on the next episode.
At last we are up and running. Hope you guys will enjoy spending some time here and talk about sports and FTB.
