What an E3 2009 we are having we've been treated to a flurry of Assassin's Creed 2 content from Cinematic Trailers to Live Stage Demos to Interviews with 2nd in command Jade Raymond. Now, before the games release on November 17th Ubisoft have confirmed that their upcoming title will include Downloadable Content to help Ezio Auditore Di Firenze on his quest.

In an interview with VG247 at E3 2009 Mark Rubin from Infinity Ward has said that Modern Warfare leaves Microsoft's Xbox 360 needing a blood transfusion.



Mark Rubin commented;

"We always push to the upper limits. It's just a matter of working around them at this point. Having to squeeze more blood from that stone. We added texture streaming now so that we can have a much bigger world, and we can stream in super high detail textures for the area close in proximity to you. And the rendering engine has been redone."

Halo: ODST showed off at this years E3 2009 its immense graphics and a fantastic live on stage demo which wetted our appetite for Bungie's new sci-fi title. Today though Bungie have confirmed that ODST will have an amazing Collectors Edition including a very special edition ODST Wireless Controller.




Also for people who purchase Halo 3: ODST will gain access to Bungie's other Halo title Halo: Reach. Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) for the first time doesn't follow the role of Master Cheif you will be more valunable to small arms fire, and for the first time you will need to use stealhyness to complete your objectives. We're very excited about this new development and cannot wait until Halo 3: ODST launces later this year.

The day every Xbox 360 owner wished for, an exclusive Metal Gear Solid which they believed they found until now. Reports have come from Japanese Magazine Giants Famitsu that MGS: Rising is coming to Sony's Playstation 3.



Either way it's nice to see both console's getting Metal Gear Solid and lets just see what Kojima Productions can pull out of their master bag of tricks. We'll keep you posted with all the latest information as and when it becomes available.

It would appear not everyone is happy at the announcement of Valve's upcoming FPS sequal - Left 4 Dead 2. Hundreds of flesh eating fans have been outraged by how quickly a sequal is in the works and feel it's just an attempt to get £39.99 out of fans.

Left 4 Dead 2 will boast a huge array of weapons not seen in the orginal L4D such as Chainsaws, Knifes, Axe's and Frying Pans. The A.I director found in L4D would mean everytime you play the title it will always be different now with an updated director it will allow the game to chage its weather, enemy population, new effects, and much much more.

We have just added the Achievements for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on the Xbox 360. The list confirms players will play the Autobot and Deception campaigns earning bronze, silver, gold and platinum medals. Despite being a movie-based game, this isn't going to be the easiest as earning all platinum medals could prove to be a chore.

Strangely, the achievements confirm the game will receive online play including player and ranked matches.

The list contains 41 achievements worth 1000 GamerScore, 3 of which are secret achievements:

Ubisoft saved the best till last at their 2009 E3 conference with a trailer for Assassin's Creed 2. After a drag of titles I personally didn't find particular interesting, Laurent Detoc declared the words: "Renaissance" and "15th Century," which could only mean Assassin's Creed 2.

Before unveiling the brand new trailer, Detoc reported how the predecessor sold over 8,000,000 units to become the fastest new-selling IP to date.

The trailer confirmed the game is set in 1489 in Venice, Italy, where a party is taking place in the town square. As you would expect, the game's protagonist whose identity is currently unconfirmed, turns up to eliminate his target. He then escapes after being spotted by a king or someone with high authority, who attempts to prevent the assassins' escape by blocking the exit, assisted by guards. What he doesn't know is that the assassin has a mechanical bow and arrow device, something that appears to be the leading edge of technology in the late 15th century.

Unfortunately, the trailer is currently not available for embedding but I hope the stills I managed to obtain will serve justice. Ubisoft announced a release date for the title of 17th November 2009, almost two years on from Assassin's Creed's release

Welcome to one of the slowest presentations this year at E3 2009 and not from a company you'd expect - Ubisoft. It only took 1hour and 18minutes until they bought out the big guns already shown at Microsoft's Press Conference but re-demoed in all its glory - Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction.



To introduce and show off the Splinter Cell are Max Beland and Alexis Parizeau who want you to 'Feel like a Predator' and immerse yourselves in a 'stealth' game play experience. To kick off you'll notice Sam (That's Fisher to you) using cool interrogation methods to extract information from foes, and if there not so cooperative you can make them by using the whole environment around you to cause serious injury.

Ubisoft are going for an ultra realistic title with an 'Interactive, Fully Destructible and Seamless transitions between environments' and to keep you even more immersed Ubisoft have came up with a new and innovative way of delivering mission objectives sort of like a wall projector.

You'll also be able to use new features such as the 'Mark and execute' feature which will allow Sam to take out multiply enemies with ease and stealth giving you the element of surprise in any situation. Keeping on the subject of out with the old and in with the new Ubisoft have implemented a new feature that will allow you too see how exposed to the light you are with the new Light and Shadow filter which turns the game almost Black and White.

Real Time Worlds have today confirmed that there will be no-more downloadable content (DLC) for there smash-hit title - Crackdown which was released on Microsoft's Xbox 360 back in Feb 2007.



Community Relations Manager (CRM) Chris Dye revealed this information via the Crackdown forums saying;

"Unfortunately from a Realtime Worlds perspective there will not be any additional DLC for Crackdown; the company has moved onto our next Project, APB, and is 100% committed to that and other projects yet to be announced, and as such we are not in a position to work on any new Crackdown content."

Even though there is no more downloadable content for Crackdown Chris Dye has confirmed that they will 'repay fans' hopefully with downloadable content for APB.
