Well, we are opening up the Designers Central to new possibilities, Illustrations.

Personal illustrations are now going to be encouraged as well as a multiple of other designs. To start us off we will have an illustration contest. There may be some prizes later on, but it has not been decided as of yet.

Well, everyone, this is BCZ. I have decided to do a union Re-Vamp. Many of my officers have either left gamespot, or become rather inactive in the DC. Due to my schedule I need some fresh officers who are willing to help hold up the union and bring in members. I will be on weekly, but mainly just to do updates, so in reality it will be the officers who run the thing. Plenty of new threads can be made, and I encourage it. If anyone would like to apply for an officer position, simply PM me. If I find your criteria acceptable, I will promote you on the spot. If I happen to see, however, that your conduct doesn't seem to represent the DC, though, I will send out warnings.

To Members who are not officers (or don't wish to be), I encourage you to be active and keep up the good work. You are allowed to make threads and post your designs (Both images and writing works) so please do so. We have made it all the way to SOTW 85 and I plan to keep this union running through 100 and more, so please be active.

I will be working on making new images for the union soon. If you would like to make the union theme yourself, simply send me a PM with your designs (Must have a banner, Avatar/Icon, and Header) and I will consider putting them up. (If they follow the DC rules, I probably will). Anyway, everyone have fun and enjoy the DC revival.

Well we have yet another new feature for the DC, called the DC Unit. This special feature, created and managed by our new member Hand_of_Niko, is a special manga short specially provided for this union. It will feature the union officers (both new and old) as well as potential guest stars of some SOTW winners and some of the more active members (feel free to try to obtain that title). This will come in a weekly bulletin, and also have links in the Creative Writing Library to the new and old episodes. This new feature will be fun and we are really looking forward to it.

Thank Hand_of_Niko for providing this for us. Any comments? Post them inside (I'm sure Hand_of_Niko would appreciate them).

The DC now has new creative design leaders to help with the Creative Writing Department. This Department in the DC should now pick up a bit now. The new CW Leaders are General_Hyrule and dissonantblack. GH will work more with keeping up the library and making threads, while dissonant will be working more in the threads and with the creative writers themselves.

Congratulate them.

We have a new union theme. I decided the old one was getting a little...well old so I made a new one!

I know I have been missing for months, my schedule wouldn't allow me to be online very much. I have freed up some time so that I may update more now, so we now have some new threads up and I will be holding officer comps soon.

Well the DC has been running rather slow as of late. I have decided to make a few new features for the union. I have not been here and i blame the current situation of visits entirely on me. I will try to be here at least twice a week, hopefully a guaranteed once a week. It would be great if the officers would visit more often and help out as much as possible. I have noticed that a few have stayed active and done so.

Now on to the new features of the union.

firstly, the frontpage will now have both the current weeks winner of the SOTW and the winner for the previous week, much like what you now see on the front page.

The new SOTW's and BOTM's will be up soon, each with a residing theme that should be completed as creativily as possible. Remember, it can be almost anything. For example, if the theme was color you could enter a B&W sig to stress the ABSENCE of color. Almost anything is possible. If you would like to post a one-line explanation about how your sig ties in with the theme, we will add that explanation on right under the sig in the voting thread, so the votes may be swayed depending on the concept. This will provide a much more expresive system of design in the DC.

More updates will be coming on the way. Hopefully we can have an update every two weeks, officers have free liability to posts any design-related subjects on the unions main page.

I am sorry, i have not had much time these last couple of weeks to come and update, and the union has been suffering because of it. If you are still behind this union, please help me increase activity. I will try to be here at least once a week.

The last banner of the month was pretty slow and we only got one entry. It may have been a harder theme for a lot of the designers, so thank DJ for making the banner, a free for all theme is up for next month.

We now have a new officer in the union, check inside for more!

The Designers Central has made it to the 50th Sig of the Week!!! This is a huge milestone for us! As celebration we will have a FREE FOR ALL theme and it will be due in two weeks. Each person can submit two entires to this sotw, but they must be labled V1 and V2.

CONGRATS TO ALL THE DC MEMBERS AND OFFICERS FOR LETTING THE UNION ACHIEVE THIS HUGE MILESTONE!

It has been redone with images and everything. I was trying to do this for a long time, but i finally found a theme that fit. Check and out and say what you think of it in this update!
