Though not an offical announcement, Shigeru Miyamoto personally confirms through a live blog that they are working on a new Zelda title for the Nintendo Wii.
A single piece of concept art was revealed:
Majora's Mask has been announced for the Wii Virtual Console.
After a rather lengthy wait, Nintendo has announced a new Zelda game!

Hello Everyone!
This is metroid_dragon reporting in, as the new leader of the Legend of Zelda Union, I plan on making this place jumping once again. I look forward to seeing you all on a regular basis around here.
A new, as of now unnanounced, Zelda game has been predicted to be released in 2009.
With Ocarina of Times 10th Birthday, here's a little update somewhat related to it!

Clues spread throughout the final dungeon of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask hint that there's far more to the story of this Nintendo 64 game than what made it to the surface. An ancient rebellion against the Goddesses of the Triforce may be tied to the falling moon that spells doom for the world of Termina.
On Jan. 31st, '08, the long awaited Nintendo fighter, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released and with that confirmation on new characters and returning characters have risen. However, not everything is known about some of these new characters yet. So with that in mind, I present to you these videos that spotlight some of the new characters coming to Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is scheduled for release March. 9th, '08 in North America.

Another Zelda game makes the IGN top 100!
this time it's the follow up to the N64's Ocarina of Time, the one that made you all buy expansion packs for your N64s! It's Majora's Mask!
We Shamelessy rip off IGN once more!

It was only a matter of time: Another Zelda game has made it to IGN's Top 100 Games Of All Time 2007. This time, it is the original Legend Of Zelda, released on the NES back in 1987. The Legend of Zelda is number 42 on the list.

It seems Mr. Aonuma is very interested in creating a 3D remake of one of the greatest games of all itme (much less being one of the best examples of a 2D game done right). There's very little information but all we know right now is that he's thinking about this possibility. Check it out here.
